Default New toy

Have some vintage crossbows in a collection here. They were made with metal limbs 40 some years ago. In the seventies there was a class action law suit over the limbs getting metal fatique and breaking and people were getting hurt.

I had an extra stock. I ordered a new fibre glass 120lbs limbs for it. Went to the local hardware store and bought a few 5/16's driveway markers and made me a few arrows. Put a blunt on one arrow for testing.

Tests came out well so now time to get a fish with it. Just something a little different to add some excitement. Had retriever sent to me for free. Total cost of setup is $70.

I don't recommend building your own arrows but being from Canada everything has to be ordered in. Buy the time shipping is added on a $20 arrow soon becomes a $50 arrow.
