Default AMS bowfishing reel

How good are these things? All I have used before for reels is the round drum spool ones and I had terrible luck with them. Almost a trip to the e.r. due to one. Needless to say I didnt use it for long. lately ive just been tying the line to the bow and letting it float. I am thinking about buying a AMS bowfishing reel and want to know if they actually work?

Thanks,

Die Hard

My only complaint with the AMS retriever would be the squeakiness on occasion, gets annoying, but is easily fixed with some graphite powder, which i like because it doesn't stink. Just one less stink i don't have to deal with, as there are plenty in the world of bowfishing.
