Nice fish, we do alittle bowfishing, where i live me and one of my buddies go to (sneek) into a gated community, and there is a creek that goes through it with some shallow water, well we just go into it and shoot the gar in there, man there are some big uns.

yea those grass carp i shot some of them out of a gated community too. i have to go in and launch the boat, go under a bridge, and then once i go under teh bridgei am fine, but if i shoot them in the lake have a big sh*t hemorrage. so i kind of have to sneek in too.

Those carp are huge! Grass carp of that size are common around here, but its illegal to shoot them...
Last year, one of my friends shot a 45-50 flathead. That thing was a monster! I believe he shot it twice. Wish I had some pics.

I was fishing awile back with my dad and one of his friends, and his friend drew back and held it for a while, so me and my dad eased over and looked in the water. We did not see anything, so my dad asked him what he was looking at. He said "its right there", my dad said "let it go its a log, its not o fish", as soon as he let it down the "log" swam away. That guy got sick, my dad apologised and we kept fishing, but it was a monster cat.
