Default When?

I started bowfishing last year in June and continued until September. I like to hunt, so I stopped for deer season. Duck season ends at the end of January and I was wondering about what time of year do you guys get back out there. Soon as the ice melts or do you start with the spawn?

You can bowfish all year long if your season dates allow it and you can find water that's not ice. Up in Northern IL, we usually get out in march as soon as the ice thaws, but you gotta look hard for the fish until the water warms up.
