A friend & I went out the night of the 3rd on the Ohio. We put 10 Buffs in the boat and had 5 others pull out including a sizable common carp I lost right next to the boat. Lots of barges stopped any serious searching for bigheads away from the bank. Here's me with one of the bigger buffs.

How was the water clarity and water levels?

nice, i would go but i dont think it will ever stop raining here in texas

water levels are good and clarity is great. we were out again Fri nite and put 22 fish in the boat, mostly buffs again. Saw some bigheads late in the night but couldnt keep track of them. I'd say we could see fish 5 to 6' deep in water that clear.
