Tommorow morning my Mom is having a knee replaced.
While this is not typically a particularly risky procedure, she has other health problems that may complicate things.

As of the last update, she was in recovery and the surgeon said it went well with no problems. I'll see her tomorrow when I bring my little one up there. She'llwant her granddaughter 'fix' to help take her mind off the pain.

That's pretty crazy. I didn't tell you on the phone. My mom is having her knee replaced on Monday. Guess it's the thing to do!

My mom is getting the lens in her eye replaced in early April. She already had the other one replaced.

We have bionic moms.

I watched a video last night about the details of the procedure.
The way they slice open the knee, move thepatella out of the way, cut off the ends of the femur and tibia, glue the fake pieces in there, and squish it all back together, it was enough to give me the willies.

I hope your Moms have as good of luck as it appears mine is having.
