didn't mean to offend you so let me rephrase:
the gators were already dead when they were put into the boats...the family we were helpingon our wayback indidn't want blood getting into their boat so they hung it over the side in order for the blood to drain...but be assurred they did not bleed to death...that would be way too slow which would have been cruel.

I thought you were talking about gator gar. Thats cool tho. Just didnt like the part were you let it bleed to death.
A.D.D., do you know these creatures are Cold blooded and notWarm blooded?
Some families have lost children, pets and livestock over these creatures you
consider pets. They will tare you to pieces if they get ahold of you. I would do
anything I had to do to kill them, especially when you are hunting them and have
them that close to the boat. There is no second chance with these creatures.

A.D.D., I see you did'nt do good in science. I don't know how old you are
and what state you live in, but you are talking to an old man that has taken
more gators than you are ever going to see . You truly don't know any thing
about reptiles, do you?

harpoon or bang stick, you should always cut their spine and scramble their brains just to be on the safe side, i didnt like the fact that it wasn't like conventional hunting, (bang and youre dead)......the gator died alot faster than some bow kills.....so if you A.D.D. dont like the bleeding to death part, then i would never bow hunt if i were you....

How do you think most all animals shot with a bow die? They bleed to death, that's how!

Congrats on the cool gators!

From the way he talks he doesn't know much about nothing. If you don't like animals to bleed to death then maybe you should give up deer hunting.

In ADD's defense, I re read the post and can understand where he's coming from. I pmed him and explained it and he seemed to understand and accept it.

On the other hand, I can see why y'all are reacting the way y'all are. Bleedin' to death is definitely a part of huntin' and if he bow hunts then he shouldn't get upset about it.

Either way, we shouldn't pick on him. We should help him understand.
