Wow, that is one huge fish!! Did that one arrow kill it or did you have to drag it in a club it? I'm very niave on the bowfishing subject, but the arrow looks to far back to be in the vitals. Maybe I'm wrong because like I said I'm niave on the whole fish thing, hopfully someone here can help me understand it. Anyways...awesome fish there, congrats to all of the lucky hunters/fishermen.

Usually don't kill it, and get at least 2 arrows in it. You do have to "neutralize" the gar before bringing it in the boat.

Yup, very nice fish. Guess those other two Gator Gar from Texas too?? I started looking onto guides for them. Only place I found them guiding for them was Texas. Planning a trip to flordia for gators next year and I really want to stick one of these too next year. What other states can you find this behemoth?
