Default My latest knife is a Christmas present

Mothers have Mothers rings. Fathers have,,, Ties. Well I changed that. I built the Fathers knife. I know he will most likely never use this knife but I built it to be used. it has high quality stainless steel. I didn't build the blade I bought it 90% finished. I built everything else. The Stainless Steel bolster, the Mosaic pins and hand fitted the small pins and handle scales. Now let me explain the build.
He has three children. The three Mosaic (pretty) pins are his children's birthstone color. The first one by the bolster was the hardest. His is a Diamond. I made the center with glitter so in the sunlight it has a sparkle. Problem was when it got hot from working it it changed color. I will have to live with that. The other two are in my opinion pretty.
Now there are 7 grand kids. there are 7 single pins for them. Then there is a cluster of three. Those stand for the 2 daughter in laws, and me the only son in law. His favorite football team used to be the Oakland Raiders I hope they still are So the handles are black and silver. I took pictures of the the knife at different stages. It has a couple flaws. The wood has a couple small brown spots in it on the right side. Nothing I can do about it. And also on the mosaic red pin. For some reason the brass semi blended and it doesn't have a good line between the pins. It can't be prefect I am not so neither is the knife.
