I've had a Master Hunter for about 20 years. It's a good general purpose outdoor knife and I usually have it in my backpack when out hunting for more than a day. The blade is sharp and it's easy to sharpen it but for processing animal it's too big for me. For skinning, gutting and quartering animals I prefer their Pendleton Lite Hunter, Roach Belly and Finn Bear knives which has smaller/shorter blade.

It's nice I've had one for every bit of 15yrs. I dont use the gut hook. I also like the lite hunter.

Good looking knife! I had a Cold steel Magnum Tanto folder Gunsite edition, it came sharp as heck but when it got dull it was a major pain in the but to get resharpened. I found it was easier to just touch it up EVERY time I used it then to let it get dull.
