RE: Who hunts traditinal
I hunt with the 50 cal New Englander by Thompson Center. it's a really nice muzzleloader. It's not too heavy and the recoil is not bad at all. I'm not into the inlines that much.

RE: Who hunts traditinal
I did all my spring gobbler hunting last season with 12ga. sidelock..this yr. it will be all done with 20/62 cal. smoothbore flintlock. Hope to have a .54cal. flintlock finished for this coming deer and hog hunting. Still have all my other rifles, bows, handguns and inlines..just no desire to use them right now.

RE: Who hunts traditinal
I haven't had a smokeless rifle out of the safe since I got a percussion smokepole for Christmas 3 years ago. I'm savin' up my mad money for one of Traditions left handed flinters. :D
