Default Lyman Deerstalker

I have a Lyman Deerstalker flinter but not used to the trigger. I am used to the double set triggers like on my T/Cs.
Anyone ever take their lock to a gunsmith to have them lighten up the trigger? Can it be done?
I'm going to my local gunshop/smith next week and find out. If any of you have an answer, let me know.

bronko22000 ,

I have a Lyman trade rifle with a single trigger - you can improve the trigger pull by polishing some internal parts in both the trigger and the lock. A gunsmith will probably have very little problem doing these procedures for you.
