omega trigger, is it adjustable?
i just got my new gun, i think i would like the trigger a little lighter. do any of you know how to adjust this. i think it has to do with the screw that hangs of the trigger cover when open and is covered by a little piece of rubber.
thanks

Look in the manual that came with the rifle. There is usually a good section about trigger adjustment. I am sure you might just have overlooked that when you read it for the first time.
On page 29 of my Black Diamond manual is detailed instructions. I am sure the Omega would also have the same kind of trigger.

RE: omega trigger, is it adjustable?
Like UC said if T/C hasn't changed it has no adjustment. My Omega trigger had some creep in it when I first got it. I took it apart and stoned it. Be careful take your time, using an Arkansas hard stone it can be made a lot better. Stone it just a very little, then put it back togother and see if it helps. Repeat this if you like until you get what you want. (T/C sells the trigger as an assembly), they do not sell parts for it. So if you screw it up it will cost you big time. The best thing is to send it back to T/C, or at least call them and ask them if it can be made lighter.

That trigger is non-adjustable by a newbie-intermediate gunsmith wannabee. It will improve a little over the first 100-150 shots. What's nice about T/C is sending it back in to be lightened for free... minus shipping costs one-way. All it takes is a call from you to them Monday thru Friday from 9-4. Phone number is in your new gun manual.

Not user adjustable unless you are a gunsmith.
I'd shoot the gun a bit and see if things improve. If not then send it to T/C to have them improve the trigger pull.
FYI, don't expect better than 4-6 pounds pull from the factory.
If you are looking for a hair trigger, then a gunsmith would be able to do the job.
Also if you or a gunsmith works on the trigger, your warranty is void.
