I take it, its a inline?
what I use for my in-line Knight is:
2 pellets of pyodex 50 grains each
250 grain Knight Red Hot ( Barnes )
I get great groups...also I have a Nikon 3-9X40 Buckmaster scope on it

That model is not listed on the CVA website & I have not read any info on it while covering 22 ML forums for almost three years now.
Sorry to hear that it didn't arrive before Christmas Day. When you receive it, please share a description of it with us here.

Congratulations of the new Kodiak rifle. Being a CVA it will probably shoot powerbelts real well. 80 - 100 grains of powder is all you will need. If you push powerbelts too hard it seems the accuracy falls off. I would suggest some of the 295 and 348 powebelts for starters, but it really is hard to say what the rifle will like. All you can do is try different loads and charges.

Make sure it's American Pioneer FFF. The AP FF is pretty coarse... like rock salt...lol. Also... Don't buy those sticks either... they're a rip-off.
I've read the Kodiaks & Optimas like 348 Powerbelts & 300 grain XTPs & SSTs the best overall with around 100 grains..... most of em' anyways. Easy gun to clean, just keep your AP powder charges at 120 or less & return the gun to the store for an exchange before you shoot it - if the trigger is heavy.
