Default knight magnum disc ?

Just ordered my first in-line, ( Knight Magnum Disc ) ordered it from Bass Pro $299.88 then take another $50.00 off factory rebate. just wondering if I did good. already have TC hawken and Lyman plains Rifle. This will be my first in-line. looking to get a scope always been a leupold man, but after Knight purchase don't have alot of money left over. I need good quality compact scope, low price. any one have any experience with the TC Hawken Hunter scopes? Thanks for the Help.

You did VERY good for a rifle. Knight products are good equipment.
To start you off, plan on using 300gr sabot bullets, you'll find excellent accuracy with them as long as you don't push them too fast - 80 to 100gr of 777 max.

I put a $70 Bushnell Sportview shotgun scope on my Knight 3 yrs ago and it hasn't missed a beat yet nor needed re-sighting at all................... and I shoot it a bunch. Make sure you get a scope with a little extra eye relief and for muzzleloading purposes, you don't need THAT much magnification. Mine is a 1.5X4.5 I wouldn't mind having a touch more - for me 2X7 would be perfect. I've heard nice things about the Bushnell Elite 3200 series of scopes............a LOT cheaper than Leupolds, but maybe a tad more than you were hoping for. For me, if I had a more expensive rifle than the $150 USAK..........I'd be looking REAL seriously at the 1.5X4.5 Bushnell 3200 with the Firefly illumination.

I could not agree with Mark Whiz more. Great rifle. I have a wolverine II and mounted a Bushell Trophy RED DOT on mine because we are not allowed scopes during muzzleloader season. I found about the same thing. Keep the powder charge around 80-100 grains and mine will shoot some excellent groups.... Right now I am shooting 85 grains of Goex 3f and a 250 grain Barnes Expander. After season I have some other loads I want to work up....

good choice for a inline. For a cheap scope you could try a tasco pronghorn 3x9 ,i got a used tasco prong horn for 15.00 at ebay best deal i ever got on ebay. When i first got my inline i found it was kind'da hard to load so i poured up a few dozen big maix balls and greased then up and shot them up and it helped alot .The most powerfull load i used so far is a 451. 300gr bullet ,black sabot and 120 gr powder load but thats with my rifle,it also has great accuracy with 451. 200gr xtp hollow points and 90gr of powder they do some real damage on broadside shots on deer. The only bad thing i have found with using the light bullets is they run out of steam after a 100 yards or so.

Stick with the Leupold scope. It may cost more but it is made in America by Americans. If more people bought American,we wouldn't have such a high unemployment rate in this country. When I bought my scope,I had a bushnell in my hand ready to buy until I saw the made in Indonesia on the scope.I put it down and bought a Leupold scope for a little more money.

Yeah, Knight's are great in-lines. I have a DISC Elite and am very happy with it. Bushnell's are a good scope for the money.
