Thanks for the 1% T' Se7en...................I hate to go around 99% cocked.

Actually I never thought about that white residue being salt-related - but it makes since.

I see the same residue everytime I shoot my Knight - no matter what powder I use..............but CleanShot (American Pioneer) REALLY leaves a lot of white - but it never interfers with loading the next round. It may be partially humidity related too, since it shows immediately in my rifle after firing a round and I always have a ton of humidty in my neck of the woods.
