If there is this much confusion on powerbelt bullets then try the no excusses. I am going to try them in .45 cal and 385 grain bullets.

I'll agree, when you punch a 50 or 54 cal hole through an animal with a slow-moving projectile, you've hurt him about as bad as you're going to with a muzzleloader. Expansion isn't all that important with big diameter bullets. Penetration is though. You want an exit hole for trailing, if it is needed.
