Default Pyrodex Triple 7 ???

Recently, I heard a sales rep at our local gun shop talking about a new non-corrosive powder being available from the Pyrodex folks. He stated to several of us standing around that this powder will give shooters all the advantages of Pyrodex Select but without the fouling and corrosion of Pyrodex. Has anyone heard of this and knows when it might be available for shooters to try?

I read about it in The Shooting Times, it said dealers should have it by spring 2002.

Will Triple 7 ignite easier than Pyrodex?

According to what I read about Hodgdon's Triple Se7en (sic), it will ignite easily, and can even be used in flintlocks.

Here's the new link to all of Hodgdon's info on triple 7 - including some load data.

Looks real promising!

Check out the slide show on the Triple 7 site. See slide #6. It's a before and after.
In the before slide, there is no wedding ring. In the after slide there is a wedding ring. And this is supposed to get us to buy the product? HAHA.
