anyone know where i might find a fancy curly maple or any type of wood stock for my TC hawken?? i want it to accept all the furniture and everything.....i love the looks of my rifle now with the walnut stock....but them curly maple stocks sure are nice looking....maybe ill just stop now on my hawken and build my own flintlock.....but oneone know where i might find some stocks for my hawken?? i was just looking at some pics and i love the curly maple stocks....thanx alot guys.....

at one time Didie Gun Works had blanks and just boards to make stocks from.
that was a few years ago,don't know bout now.

Visit Fort Chambers in Chambersburg PA, about a block from Gander Mountain just north of Chambersburg!! Also Golden Age Arms....Log cabin Sports Shop....Dixie Gun Works... Track of the Wolf...I've bought good, curly maple stock basic and partially inletted blanks from all of these. They also have partially completed stocks, BUT you 'll have to inlet most of the hardware yourself! You won't find any fancy curly maple stocks (or any other wood either) that your parts will fit "out of the box"!!
