Default Ruger muzzleloader?

I have a ruger or 2 around and a friend wanted to know how their muzzleloaders were.I don't own any, does anyone have one of the Rugers? I assume they would be a good gun.

Have had one since they came out with one,at first it had a 8 lb trigger pull, took it down to 21/2 lb,It will shoot very tight groups with 185 to 250 gr bullets, never tried any heavier bullets in it.Don't shoot it much anymore because been working on other muzzleloaders. You don't see much on them but they are one of the best ones around in my opion, easy to clean and well made.
Don't shoot it much but still wouldn't part with it. Let a friend use it this past season, He shot it at 100 yds to see how it shot and was dead center,he didn't get to shoot at a deer but shot it again afterwards to unload it and it was dead center also.

I bought the Ruger 77/50 "All Weather a few years back.I hate to admit it but it's still hasn't been fired.Like mentioned they come with the Ruger Rings which is a excellent set up.I originally bought it for hunting, but I stumbled on a great buy on a Knight Disc which became my hunting gun.A friend has the Ruger along with allot of other in-lines. He swears by the Ruger. The Musket cap breech plug is a good deal.I saw the 209 conversion kit but I prefer to keep mine all Ruger instead of buying after market accessories. I think the Ruger's are a quality made in line along with all of Ruger's firearms.Ruger's Customer Service is second to none. You don't find Ruger 77/50's in Shooter Supply catalogs.Ruger must have made an agreement to sell only through gun shops. If you can find one I say go for it. You won't regret it.
