yes that is a pretty rifle.......i myself dont like that color wood on a rifle though.....i mean.....its truely beautiful.....but i just like a dark colored wood to go with my rifles...but id trade my tc hawken for that rifle in a heartbeat!!! it looks like an original hawken almost...hmmm....maybe i should upgrade my hawken and put true steel accessories on it instead of brass.....wonder if i can find them...but the brass does make my gun look good i think.......i dont know......i think i should build my own flinter......wont come close to the one in the pic.....but i can make it how i like and somewhat nice looking.....maybe that will be next winters project.....thanx for the idea........now you got me going.....i know i cant afford something that nice....but i know i can buy raw materials and make my own.....buy the best lock i can......a good barrel....and a beautiful piece of wood for the stock......hmmmm lol.....

Yes that is sure a nice looking rifle. I would bet it is a great shooter also. The trouble with a rifle like that is when you take it out to shoot or hunt you are so worried about the rifle getting damaged. That would be a nice rifle to have and walk out the back door and shoot then clean up real pretty and hang it back on the wall. You know what I mean, not take any chances with it.

I have a few real nice rifles. I also have a $39.95 CVA Mountain Stalker in .54 caliber with the plastic stock. Now that is a nice rifle. It shoots real straight, cleans up easy, and when you walk around with it through the brush you are not worried if it rubs against branches or such. (Actually I am still careful with it even though it was cheap.). Everyone should have one of each. One to hunt with and one to look at...
