Default BP Magazine ?

Anyone know of a good magazine for muzzleloader information ?

Looking for one that tells of hunts, compairs guns and the like, and gives insight on new products.

The best mag I have read is Black Powder Hunting. It is put out by the International Blackpowder Hunting Association. Address is P.O.Box1180 Glenrock Wy. 82637-1180. Cost is $20 year. I can't tell you for sure how many issues come a year. Phone 307-436-9817. They cover all aspects of blackpowder hunting, from flintlock to old cartridge rifles and shotguns. They usually do an article on some old original gun that really informs. It has a very good question and answer section. They go all the way from writing about hunting with a matchlock to testing a Savage with smokeless.

I agree with 45Hawken---------I have been a member for almost 10 years and really enjoy the journal they put out. I think dues are only $20/yr.
ram, you will not be sorry if you join.

www.blackpowderhunting.org It comes quarterly. I look forward to each issue more than any publication I get. If I ever had to limit myself to one publication onany subject, this is the one magazine I would continue to get.

It's a little cheaper if you order it for 3 years. It's a pretty good source of information regardless of what style ml you use.

YES!! Join the National ML Rifle Association HQ in Friendship, IN! They publish MUZZLE BLASTS, which is good! There are a couple of Mountain Man magazines too, like (I think!!) BUCKSKINNER, etc.
