Default one question...

ok guys....i finally have another question...you missed my questions huh?? lol....well im thinkin of taking my muzzleloader with me tomarow...maybe ill get lucky and bag a buck early leaving me with a doe tag to fill....snow on the ground....doe tag...sounds like a job for the flinter....i dont want to take it out and see a buck and mess something up yet..im new at this if youve forgoten or didnt read my millions of threads....but my question is....i have my powder in a flask and some in my premeasured tubed for just powder.....will they sweat and condensate like most things going from diffrent temps....its hot in here....freezing out side then warm in my car...then back out into the freezing cold.....my guns unloaded....and always will be....no loaded or partially loaded guns in my car.....not me....im not taking that chance....but will my powder be fine? id assume it would be...i mean it would almost have to be fine or wed never get a gun to go off.....right? anything to worry about....just making sure........thanx

M.6 you should be alright, I have carried powder for several days and never had a problem with it condensating enough to cause a problem.

Mauser06 ,
I found 2 speedshells in the fanny pack I was wearing last season , both still loaded with 100 grains of Pyro RS and roundball . They had been in and out of the house , taken to the woods for hours , then left in a scent safe bag in the car overnight many times . After the season ended , they stayed in the house through air conditioned Summer , and heated Fall . When I took my ML to the field to sight it I loaded it from those 2 speedshells first . BOOM! both times .

No , I don't see a problem there .

ok thanx.....the flinter is packed and ready for tomarow if i feel i have a good chance to use it....ill definently be outgunned during a deer drive when im surrounded by guys with their mags full on there fancy smancy metalic self contained cartridge rifles....who needs those anyways? i only load my mauser with 1 round and 1 round only.....no need for any more......if i cant do it with 1....i simply dont want to...the chances of you getting a good second shot at live game are slim..besides the fact it will probally be running your adrenaline will be redlined and youll be going nuts....not a very good time to shoot at a live animal.....first shot....make it count....ill see how the day goes and see if i take it out.....dad would like atleast 2 more deer for the freezer......ive got some work to do.....he only plans to hunt 1 or maybe 2 more days.....and the way our seasons going we might need alot more then that lol...ill see....it will be in my car tomarow.....if i dont use it muzzleloader season is my last hope....coming soon.......cant wait......i just dont want a buck to step out and me have a misfire or something because of the muzzleloader....it would kill me.....but then again taking a buck with a flinter.....infront of a bunch of guys......man....id look like a bad dude......hmmmmm lol
