Has anyone heard from him lately? I'm going to try and call him if I can find his number. Found it and gave him a call. He's doing OK but still trying to get back to his preCOVID health.

Good to hear he is hanging in there Bronko . i know a couple people that struggled for quite a while after getting covid in 2020. Took one of them 8-9 months to get their sense of taste and smell back. Mu other bubby caught it in 2021 and took him over a year to get his wind back. but only maybe 95 percent

Hey guys, thanks for the thoughts. I'm still kicking around.
I got Covid in October 2022. Started off with low grade fever, brain fog, chronic fatigue, loss of balance, strange rash on arms, renewal of pain in old injury area and general listlessness. Symptoms continued for 14 months before slowly going away. Spent a good portion of that time in a Lazy Boy recliner, which resulted in significant loss of muscle tone.
I'm now in full recovery mode. The brain fog is gone and I'm exercising every day trying to restore muscle tone. I did make some hunts last season but didn't shoot anything. Not because I couldn't have. I saw lots of deer and could have taken at least two nice bucks. But I just didn't feel like dealing with one after the kill. It was enough for me just to enjoy being in the stand and watching the animals. All of my guns are complaining about sitting in the rack with no exercise. I plan to remedy that pretty soon.
Guys, it ain't easy being old.![](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f602.png)
