Rice barrel
#1

I'll soon have a Rice barrel. Going to be picking it up on my way through NC next week. Its a 32", .45 caliber, 1:18 twist and its a drop in for my T/C Hawken stock.
From everything I've heard these barrels are really good shooters. Comes with Williams sights but the rear will be removed and a Lyman 57 sight installed.
Can't wait to run it through its courses in a couple weeks.

Ron I'm going to be trying the 11mm paper patched and the 340-I bullet for starters. I also have a 500 gr mold and 405 gr mold that I shoot out of my .45-70s and I can cast some out of pure lead and size down. I didn't have too much luck in the past downsizing .458" to .451"
I recently picked up an adjustable .45 cal sizing die so I can fine tune to the diameter I need.
