Buck and Jon are so desperate to start a new forum they will do anything. Including lying about why they left the old one. When you sell a forum that usually includes a "no compete" clause for a set amount of time. Trying to funnel your members over to your new forum is a flat out violation on most forums.

well when you post something on a public site and anyone in the world can see, copy and paste things
its not so much stealing(unless there claiming its there original words and then that is more lying than stealing IMO)as things again posted publicly tend to end up being public, and not so private to be stolen?

I know over the yrs I have used others posts(I always stated they were not mine and from else where)
as was never trying to get credit for things, just passing on info to try and help someone over re writing things, its easier to copy and paste

but if you feel you were robbed in some way, maybe go on the site and make a claim and show your proof<

calling out liars is not uncommon on forums! heck I say its rather common!

SO have at it
doubt it will do any good but maybe make you feel better?

lots of cheaters in the world, nothing new here IMO!
not defending, just saying

Doing a copy and paste but giving credit to the author is one thing.....Taking it and claiming its your own is a whole other matter.

Posts on most forums become the property of THAT forum. So it is in fact theft if you try to pass them off as your own on another forum. That post IS 1874's topic on another forum.

The action described is consistent with my long term assessment of the character of one of the new forum's founders.

Some people just need to feel superior or smarter than ohers and will go to any measures to look that way.
