Default Accura-Optima stocks

I am thinking someone out there has both an Optima V2 and an Accura V2. I know that CVA says the stocks are not interchangeable, but they look REAL close. Has anyone tried putting an Accura V@ stock on an Optima V2? I ask because even though I love the Optima I have, I would really like to put a soft touch stock on it. I hate the hard plastic stock that came with it.

Thanks,
46r

I can verify that they are definitely not interchangeable. Even the Accura V2 and MR stocks aren't able to be swapped. I definitely agree that the soft touch feels better. If you're serious enough about it, call Utah Hydrographics. They do a soft touch dip on any gun for a pretty reasonable price, and you can even pick you camo or other pattern.

I would definitely do that. I don't see the soft touch option, but I will give them a call and get a little more information. Do you know if the end result is similar to what CVA does on the Accura?

Actually, I just found this. Soft Touch - Affordable Cure for slippery stock?

Looks like it is a definite possibility.

I did find this company near me that appears to apply a soft touch finish over the finishes. I think I will give this a try. I hope it comes out as nice as the Accura stock.
