Default Barnes 250g Expander MZ

The BARNES 50cal 250gr EXP-MZ BULLET HPFB was provided by anonymous.

The distance between the rifle, and the horse was 25 yard. The load was 80 grain Blackhorn Powder.

The bullet went through the carpet/plywood, blew up the front jug, blew up the second jug, was captured by the third jug. The bullet hit the back of the third jug hard enough to leave a mark. The fourth, and fifth jugs were/are undamaged.

This last photo shows the bullet shot, and caught March 8 using 50 grain Blackhorn, and the bullet shot, and caught this morning, using 80 grain Blackhorn.

Ron thanks for testing with the heavier load. That is a devastating bullet for sure and would expend a lot of its energy inside the animal (where it can do the most good) but I'm just wondering if you happened to connect with both front shoulders would you get a pass through? I always aim behind the shoulder but maybe one time I could be off a tad.. . I'm pretty sure it would pass through even hitting just ribs.
