Sorry guys forgot the good stuff. I was using my CVA Apex in 50 cal. I used the 275 gr. Parker bullet with 95 grs of BH209. Range was maybe 45/50 yds. The worst part was trying to focus with these old eyes. I have cataracts that need to be removed. Was waiting till January and after the season to get it done. The light was getting really dim and hard to see. Plus he was standing in very high swamp grass and I thought he was laying down. I could see his neck and head so I lowered my aim to the base of the neck and shot. I ended up hitting him in his right should.


In this photo you can see where I hit him in his shoulder:



Oh yeah, the mount will run $675. + tax!!!

Congratulations Rafsob. Thats a nice looking Va. buck and will make an awesome mount for sure with that wide rack.
