Default Ring height for my Omega???

I've decided to get a Vortex Diamondback HP 4-12x42 scope for my Omega. I want to go with the Warne Maxima one piece base with the Maxima QD rings. I'm having a hard time finding the medium height rings. My question is will the 'High" rings be to high for this scope setup? What height rings do you guys suggest? Any pics of your setup would help and be appreciated.

I would not go with high rings with a 42mm objective lens. Lower is better for cheek weld and for the greatest effective range when using a point-blank zero. Also, lower looks better.

I love mine on my White S91 .451 muzzy. I took the Nikon scope off after the season ended last year to clean up the area and put electrical tape on the undersides of the scope and reinstalled. When I took the rifle out to make sure all was still on...it was just as it was before I took off the scope.

I have Warne QD rings on all my scoped Whites.
