It's may not be reasonable to complain about something one has been receiving for free, but I'm going to do it anyway.
If you use Photobucket you already know the flood of pop-ups there have been getting worse and worse. Now, Photobucket has discontinued 3rd. party hosting of images stored there unless you buy their "PLUS 500" plan for $400 a year.
Otherwise, any image you try to post from your Photobucket account will show up like this:

What's worse, all of those images you've posted over the years will show up that way also. That's going to have a real negative effect on this forum and many others. For example, consider all of pictures in our Black Power Reference Forum that will no longer show.
Is there any way to add a photo to a post here by loading it directly from your PC file, rather than using a hosting site?

I too have noticed all the "junk" that happens at Photobucket. How they send you all over the place before they let you even get to your own picture files. I was looking for a free "new" place to store photos.

You can host photos on huntingnet under you user cp.
Load them on your p.c.
then Click user CP
click PICTURE & ALBUMS
create an album
And upload pictures
Keep your pictures small to medium size.
I actually pay for flickr. Not near 400 bucks.

I have started using picture trail. I keep get the E Mails from Photo bucket to up grade and they provide a coupon to reduce the price.
Picture trail pic of my granddaughter and daughter.

I also use shutterfly. they just made changes and I have not totally figured them out.
At my cabin two weeks ago today.
