no wonder people had problems getting a 45 cal. 1:20 TC to shoot !!

The pellets or the fact they are claiming life time warranty?

Five 30 grain pellets for 150 grains... is still only 120 grains of T7 powder. The real problem comes with shooting a bullet in a sabot with that charge. The sabots of that time could not handle the torque created by a 1-20 twist...


If you look at this picture you can see the result of shooting the older Polymer formulation in a 45 with a heavy load. The red sabots are exactly the same sabot with the new Polymer. Even though it doesn't look great it shot great... The cup design around the edges was to thin. The newer Light tan sabots have a much better cup design





Tone the powder load down to 90 grains and you would have real decent luck.


This photo shows both the Harvester and the MMP with the heavier powder cup and new polymer really do not have a problem with heavier loads and projectiles. These were shot with a T7 120 grains and a 40x230 grain Lehigh. Torque was not a problem...

Both ..... maybe they meant lifetime of the company not the guns or the buyers

Rights and in a chain reaction as each of the 5 pellets that are coated on the bottom with black powder ignite one after another

That old load was also based on a 155gr bullet....Do the math...its a recipe for failure.

155gr+150gr pellets+1-20Twist=a 2500fps failure
