Default Birthday and anniversary:)

Seemed as good an excuse as any to get a new gun . I was considering the Knight 500 but opted to go a different route when they emailed me the price shipped and the lead time was double the time it would take to have one built. It's more personalized that way anyway
It won't be ready in time to be just a birthday present but it should be ready in time to be an anniversary birthday present combined .

Stock is a Boyd's pro varmint with laminate wood painted black, pachmayre recoil pad ,and adjustable comb .
Remington 700ml action ,
Asg 209 boltnose kit
Asg breech plug assy.
Custom recoil lug
Brux 18 twist .450/.458 varmint barrel 27"
Timney straight shoe target trigger.
Murphy stainless steel 20moa scope base.
Burris signature rings and
Vortex viper 6.5 x20 scope

The hard part is the waiting ...,

You'll like it...... congrats!

The wait will get worse, especially if you get a tracking number

1874sharpshooter, if that texturing is on the cheek weld side I would highly recommend you sand it down and make sure there is no roughness. A hard recoil with you tight into your weld can result in hamburger face. I had the very unfortunate chance to experience that for myself and looked like I got slapped in the face with a cheese grater. Yours does look to be a bit smoother than mine was and mine was on a very hard and fast recoiling .300 Winchester magnum but a heads up to the possibility seems to be in order.

Now I got to get it out and see how she shoots. I think I will be able to do that tomorrow after work hopefully. I am sure she will be a shooter.
Remington 700ml action, 1:18 Brux barrel, Timney target trigger, Boyd's pro varmint stock with adjustable comb
I plan on trying it out with some 270 E-max sabotless and later on some big lead.
I don't have the scope I want for it yet so in the mean time I slapped a Nikon 4x16 monarch on there just so I could shoot.
I will get some better photos and a range report soon.
