Default Nikon Inline XR Muzzleloader Scope

I'm switching to this scope for this hunting season. Anybody using one of these?

I checked one out a few months back at Cabela's when I was scope shopping, nice glass for sure.
P.S would love to see a full report on the CVA scout you converted!!

I have one on a Super DISC and i find the eye relief to be almost too much with Warnes 2 piece bases. A good 1 piece base should give you just a tiny bit more room for mounting.

A 2 piece base with a slightly longer front base with a additional slot would probably do it too. IMO that scope needs to go just a tiny bit more forward to be mounted correctly.

Mine is actually the Nikon Omega but its nearly identical to the Inline XR.

I was told the XR is basically just the last model Omega renamed. SLIGHTLY better glass than the last Omega (so slight a normal human probably couldn't tell the difference) but the exact same tube and internal mechanisms. All that said, from what I've been told, if you liked the Omega scopes, you will like the XR's.

That actually sounds really good for me. Plus the thicker BDC reticle will help me as well just before dark.

Very happy with the scope so far. The adjustments were spot on, and it didnt take many shots to get it were i want it for now. Gotta test the BDC reticle at 200 and 250 yards. I used the 265grn Copper Lehigh bullet for now.
