Default New ML/SML action available soon

These look sweet but they are priced pretty sweet too. They take Rem700 hardware/stocks and Savage large shank barrels so its fairly simple to assemble them yourself. They will be available in LRMP (module) and bare 209 primer.

1 piece pinned rail included with 8-40 screws. Pierce Engineering firing pin assembly if im not mistaken. All you need to add to the action is your trigger. Bolts will be straight fluted and will include the bolt handle. He hasn't posted a pic yet.

6-12 weeks out and he will offer a 45cal barreled action as well. Non FFL too.

Suweeeet!!!!

I like the bolt design. Looks sweet, but I wonder what the overall weight of the rifle will be.

My best guess is its a prototype bolt since the action is not 100% finalized.

That would be why the post started off with "Available soon" and "Getting closer"

Jon that's a Rem bolt. If you look closely at it you can see that the rear of the bolt is not fully screwed into the bolt body.

The bolt looks more like a modified Ruger American; however, I agree the rear portion resembles a remington.

Its based on a Rem700 short action but uses Savage type barrels. The bolt body uses a Pierce Eng. Rem700 firing pin assembly IIRC. Rem700 triggers fit such as XMark, Timney, Jewel and TriggerTech.

The action when finished will drop into any Rem700 SA stock. The barrel channel will need opening up for the barrel nut and contour if its not large enough.
