So many excellent choices. But I would go with the one that is not only able to handle the job but easy to maintain on the hunt. Plus I admit, I am particular to big conical bullets. So it would have to be the White Rifle. But I never hunted elk with a muzzleloader. I can only dream of how wonderful the hunt would be. Good luck with what ever you take.

Chet, were the groups you showed made with Lehigh bullets from the box on the table? If so, why aren't you considering them? Seems to me the 215g controlled fracture would be an excellent choice, especially if they are that accurate. You could kill elk from 25 feet to 250 yard with that bullet. .. |

White super Safari is just about ready. Made 2 scope changes but am happy with the Nikon Monarch 4x16 on it now .

.. I didnt think we could use CF bullets . I thought they had to be expanding or soft point to be legal |
