Default Knight question

Can the Knight Disc Extreme be converted to shoot 209 primers without using the red plastic primer holders? In other words is there a conversion where you can use bare 209 primers?
If so, can you tell me the link?

Ok Sorry - that's 3 questions.!

Yes if it is an Extreme and not an Original DISC you can get a Bare Primer conversion for it.

There are actually two versions of this the old version you would a get a bare primer breech plug and a primer adapter for you Extreme bolt. Today Knight does not offer that you will get a new bolt housing and a bare primer breech plug...

This is the new conversion - do not know where you could get the old conversion.

thanks Sabot...I went to their site and looked at all the conversions and I'm still a little confused.
The one I'm looking at has the 209 ignition with the red plastic jackets. They do sell a bare 209 breech plug only. would that be all I would need.
Or should I just give them a call and be sure?

This is the complete bare primer KIT http://www.knightrifles.com/product/...onversion-kit/

You just unscrew the "innards" from your assembled bolt and screw them into the new bare primer bolt housing. Replace the old plug with the new and you are done.

Later on you can upgrade to the Bestill bushing plug if you wish.

The one that Scott and I have tagged is the only available now days. Buying a bare breech plug will not help you because you do not have the primer adapter for the Extreme bolt.

The part under or supporting the bolt is the primer adapter and it is not being made any more. If you had the adapter then all you would need is the bare primer breech plug.
