Banerbird sent five of these 475 caliber 275 grain Deep Curl bullets so i could try and capture them.

Three of these bullets were shot at the target placed next to the jugs at 25 yard. The aim was the very middle, and they hit like they were shotgun pellets scattered all over the orange. They are very very very inaccurate when fired from my rifle. Two 300g XTP were shot at the upper left green circle, to see if the rifle was OK, and their holes touched. With the bullets shooting so erratically i didn't have much hope of a successful test, but proceeded anyway. The fourth bullet was shot at the jugs; it just barely clipped the top of them, went away, and ruined all 5 jugs.
The last bullet was shot at 5 new jugs; the aim was at the bottom of the front jug, and the results follow:

Ron that it matters that much, but I also tried some .475's in a 52 cal. Knight and really could not get the accuracy that I wanted. Wasn't as spread as yours but it was not good.

Didn't think to mention, temperature through the shooting this morning was 57 degrees, with near zero breeze, and very light rain -- wonderful it was.

The 50x475 sabots can be extremely difficult to get to shoot well. The petals are much thinner than any other sabot.
As for the .475 275gr DC, it is a tough bullet. I shot some out of my ULA at well over 2100fps and they held up fairly well.
