Default Help please!!

For some reason, my pistol isn't working properly. It has been working fine, up until today. When I pull the hammer back, it's going off without using the trigger. I took it all apart, to see if there was a way to set the trigger, but I'm at a loss. Ugh. I need this pistol to be working properly, as I have two matches to shoot in June.

Your cocking the hammer and when you release it it just fires? Or is it actually locking back first?

First thing I would do is pull the lock. On the back side of it there are many little parts. Take some dish soap, and squirt some back there. Then with an old tooth brush gently scrub all the parts until they are clean. Then a drop of oil and put it back together. See if that helps. If not, take it to a gun smith.

Well, I dropped the pistol off with a gunsmith this morning. He said that he was going to work on it right away.
