Rangerod sent these 300 grain Parker Ballistic Extreme bullet to be tested.

Ive always wondered how well the 300gr BE holds up. I would like to get them shooting well sabotless when my supply of the 275gr BEs runs out.

Well, the 300g bullet penetrated deeper, and lost less weight, so it seems like it is worth a look. It flies some better too. The 275g test.

Doing a little calculating, one finds this bullet has the same energy at 300 yard, as the 300g XTP has at 200 yard, when both are shot from the X7, using 105g Blackhorn. More importantly, it has half again as much energy at 200 yard as the XTP. This bullet has a great ballistic coefficient; better than just about anything.

This bullet costs five times as much as the XTP.
