I just seen that Gander Mtn has the Impact WS/RT for $300 and there is a $20 promo that ends today. That rifle for $280 is a deal. But the sale ends today. Cabelas wants $320 for the same rifle.
Cayugad - I saw you have a custom ordered but maybe you'd like one of these too...

Cabelas prices are high if you don't catch them on sale.

$280 sounds like a good price.

whats jumping on the cva band wagon? My flintlocks are traditions. Only have one CVA sidelock and I wouldnt dare use that against an impact to honest. It would make the scoped shooter cry after I got through running a few rounds down range with her.

4 pages?

I got my black/blued Impact delivered to my door for $225 insured from Bud's. He has the ws/rt Impact for $277 w/free FedEx delivery. Mine came UPS for some reason. But anyways it was free.
I was a bit concerned about the position of the trigger when I first saw it but upon cocking the hammer it's situated perfectly for me. So it's okay to dry fire this Impact?

WOW!! that much LOP would be hard to find in any factory rifle. I use a 13 1/2 LOP and that's kind of standard I was told. Do you put extensions on your rifle butt?

I had to do that to my SKS as the LOP was not made for larger people. Yet my little friends son loves the fit of the SKS. They were over one day and he of course loves my collection. When he saw the SKS he called it a AK47 and I told him it was similar but totally different. So he begged to see it. And has mentioned to me many times how much he's love to have it. Hint! Hint! Not!!

I am actually in the process of selling off my inline rifles. Then I will get rid of the cap rifles too. I want to be pure flintlock at the end of it.

I did find out that these stores that claim they give top dollar for trade in rifes, DON'T MEAN IT! What they offered me for my center fire bolt rifle, was pure insult. And when I told him that his reply was, well I have to make a little too. And I thought ... a little!! Are you serious?

I had a problem with sidelocks, but inlines it's easier. The Triumph and CVA MR have 14 1/2" LOP. With some guns I have to wear a shoulder recoil pad to get the LOP that way. I hate wearing one though. It doesn't feel natural.
