Default Modern Inline - Choose an Action Type

We are talking Inline Muzzloaders only. They will all be able to shoot BH209 right out of the box. The rifle would incorporate the modern mechanics of the time.

The 50cals would have a 1/24 twist to satisfy the full bore bullets and sabots alike. The 45'S would have a 1/20 twist, here again good for full bore bullets and sabots. I should also mention these are hunting rifles.

1-A bolt action

2-A break open

3-A falling block similar to the T/C Omega

I went with break-open.

I go with the bolt action. Like my knights but I do have one custom built breakaction with a Ed Rayl barrel.

I just have experience with my TC PH and it has served me extremely well. Shoots just as good, if not better than, a lot of my centerfire rifles. On a good day when I am feeling my oats (and them days come fewer and fewer at my age) I can put 5 in under an inch at 150. Can't really ask any better of a MLer than that! So yep, I picked break action. But I tell ya what, I sure would like to lay hands on a 1:24 twist .50cal barrel just for some giggles! I think that would open up a lot of doors for some better BC bullet options.

Break-action - then fall-action - then bolt-action.

Break action for me.
Drop action is awkward for me.
Bolts that I have had did not have locking lugs so no added safety factor just a lot of wasted space and weight.
