Default DISC bolt

The new to me Elite does not have the QR bolt screw. I may tap it for one, but what distinguishes a bolt requiring the "C" tool for disassembly versus one which does not?

If I were home I could show you with a picture... but....

If you want to know turn the secondary safety in as far as it will go. If it comes to a dead stop and the hammer assembly will not turn out it is a 'C' tool bolt.

If you turn it in and feel a spring being pulled tight then is a non tool bolt.

More than likely on any Extreme or Elite it will be a non-tool bolt

It appears to be non-C tool. Thanks Mike.
