Sweet! I hope they do the strikerfire in it, that would be a real nice set up.

Keeping up with the Jonses, they finally are.
Now if they would include improving their warranty services, then maybe they will finally turn in the right direction.

The Nitrate seems like an easy way to hide a poor stainless barrel myself. I hope Knight does not replace there stainless with anything like this. It would be ok for T/C cause everything is blued or weathershield anyway except the Encore.

Have you ever owned a rifle that needed that type of coating? Personally, I have not.

No, but I take care of my guns. That can't be said for everybody.

I'm happy with a blued/browned barrel.

The barrel on my gun right now is sanded down to bare metal. I plan to leave it that was for at least all of this year.

I'm pretty sure that that type of coating is intended for the segment of the market that dosen't want to have to take great care with their muzzleloader. I'd say that comprises about 90% of the ML market.

Grouse

You can nitride any SS barrel. I may have my 54-120 done but i will probably go with BlackIce instead. I like the matte black finish on hunting rifles.
