I respect whomever for trying satisfy members. This did nothing to prevent or enhance BP as the former worked acceptably.
Perhaps we should separate shotgun guages or rifle calibers or bow types in forums so no one is left out and can show their unique preferences. (Sarcasm off) Political correctness is everywhere some people go.(generalization)

This is true. Whatever floats their boat. Won't change nothing either way.

It was needed. But the Title to this board should change in conjunction to the new one....

This board should now be called either....
Present-Day Muzzleloading
Modern Muzzleloading
Contemporary Muzzleloading
......and be grouped (above or below) the Traditional Board in the listing.

Changing the name of an existing sub forum can lead to complications. Adding new ones is very simple.

The term black powder though should never have been used in the first place. Back in the "day" it was not called black powder anyway. It was called gun powder. Muzzleloading would have been a more accurate sub forum name.

I tend to agree GB.

Rather than have "Black Powder" as a Sub-Forum under the Firearms Forum, there should now be three separate Sub-Forums (i.e. "Modern In-Line Muzzleloaders", "Traditional Side Lock Muzzleloaders", and "The Muzzleloader's Reference Forum".

Or, there could be one "Muzzleloaders" Sub-Forum listed under the Firearms Forum with three sub-forums under the Muzzleloaders banner, as follows.

Muzzleloaders (No posts in this section)
...Modern In-Line Muzzleloaders
...Traditional Side Lock Muzzleloaders
...The Muzzleloader's Reference Forum

So, they made this forum a modern muzzleloader forum, and buried the traditional forum. I never saw it until this thread pointed it out.

So, now we can't post about sidelocks on this forum.

That was a good way to get rid of me..
