I have not went out to an actual movie theater in over 30+ years. The theater is too far away and just not worth the drive when it will be on HBO in four months. I have heard that the movie you're discussing is "very well done."

And while we might pick apart that this should not have happened, or that was not true ... remember, Hollywood is making entertainment. They are not calling it a documentary. So while the story line might be based on true history. I am sure no one would defend the idea it is 100% accurate. They need to add lib to make it appealing to the movie watchers.

I always say, lean back enjoy the show, make note if you will of the deficiencies of the facts, but remember "Its only a movie."

It's been over 30 years for me too and there are Cinemas close-by. I don't even have any HBO-like Movie Cable Provider packages either.

I usually get to see the best movies of 2015 in about three more years on Neflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu.....lol:p

Hulu is the only one I subscribe to monthly. Amazon and Netflix I get for free via my daughter's subscription. I use her membership credentials to plug-in to my TVs.

I get it you guys want 100% accuracy. I like to watch the super hero movies. The movies don't follow the story lines originally written. Some times that pisses me off. Most of the time I just sit back with a bag of popcorn and if the movie is good let it draw me in and enjoy it. You fellows need to chill.

Thank you Ron. this is what I was trying to say, but you did it better. I really want an accurate story if I can get it. But in this case, who cares!!! I loved seeing them shooting their FL and working in what I would love to have experienced. Tough life for sure.

I wasn't ragging you Pete, just poking you pal!!! :cool2:

Ok, poke away.

I did say I enjoyed the movie. How can I do anything else from my favorite era?

I do speak up when someone thinks the movie is accurate though. Just to set the record straight, but has nothing to do with me not enjoying the movie. The fights were good.

about the only thing that was correct was the bear attack lol.

I just received an email from my nearby video store. They are promoting the movie Lucy from two summers ago for only $2. That's about as recent as it gets for me these days.

Where's the expensive Boy Scouts promotion-popcorn I bought for $20?

Muley Hunter 01-13-2016 06:24 AM

I haven't been to a movie in 25 years. Maybe it's been longer.

GoexBlackhorn 01-13-2016 08:27 AM

They're not $3-4 for entrance anymore Pete. That's probably how much the popcorn costs today... I'll bet.

MountainDevil54 01-13-2016 09:17 AM

$5.50 here to get into the movies and a few bucks for the popcorn.
