Huh?

lemoyne 12-20-2015 06:09 AM

Thank you from most of us, those who own up to our mistakes make the world a better place.

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 06:10 AM

True, but he apologized, and still banned Chet. I don't get it?

Gm54-120 12-20-2015 06:22 AM

I think he meant he un-banned him. His name no longer has "banned" under it.

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 06:25 AM

What about his other name? ;)

WV Hunter 12-20-2015 06:49 AM

JW, we'll still allow you to hang around :D

Actually, nice job manning up and apologizing up to what you felt was a mistake. Too bad more folks everywhere can't do that. We live in a blame game society now, which makes me want to puke. Especially this younger generation.

super_hunt54 12-20-2015 07:01 AM

Well I'm 100% lost on this thread. Musta missed something.

Did you ever stop to think and forget to start again?
(Credit for that goes to a user on another site I visit)

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 07:18 AM

I like it when I forget I forgot something.

Then I don't have to figure out what I forgot.

Triple Se7en 12-20-2015 07:22 AM

Twice this month I have walked down to the basement to retrieve something and when reaching the basement floor, forgot what I went downstairs for.

Easy out on that one...exercise.

Gm54-120 12-20-2015 07:39 AM

Old age isn't a requirement

When i smoked...On more than one occasion i searched all over for my lighter only to realize it was in my hand the whole time.

bronko22000 12-20-2015 08:09 AM

what is going on with this thread. What of JW?

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 08:13 AM

I lost my sunglasses once.

Then I discovered I was wearing them.

Done that a BUNCH of times. Worst was I couldn't find my car keys and was running late. Running around looking everywhere getting pissed...they were in my hand. :eek2:

And I'm not even old like you guys :poke:

super_hunt54 12-20-2015 08:21 AM

You know, it's much harder to tell when a thread has went off the rails if you have absolutely NO clue what the thread was about to begin with??? :D :D :D

a1smokepole 12-20-2015 08:30 AM

Can you all tell this all over again I forgot.:confused0024:

Champlain Islander 12-20-2015 08:38 AM

So what makes an "Old Black Powder Hunter with memory problems"? Is it advanced age or a long history of breathing smoke and or lead poisoning. Without saying ages who thinks they are the oldest.

bronko22000 12-20-2015 08:45 AM

I know I ain't - I'm only 62.
But on a side note - getting up to go into another room for something and forgetting what you went in for is God's way of giving us seniors exercise.

Too much recoil. Brain gets knocked loose.

What did you think that rattling sound was?

Could be teeth, hearing aid or the cane falling over.

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 09:07 AM

Good point.

super_hunt54 12-20-2015 09:25 AM

Well in 112 days I'll be 70. Probably aint the oldest, may or may not be the biggest, but you can dang well bet I'm the ugliest!!! :D

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 09:27 AM

We didn't want to mention that.

MountainDevil54 12-20-2015 09:32 AM

Triple Se7en 12-20-2015 09:33 AM

I like all the moderators here. I pray that they take sides with me more often in future years. I'll even say a months full of Rosaries if they promise to agree with me 100% of the time. :arms:

I know - I know! Obama already stated there are no promises in life. I hate new government rules. :lolabove:

You older bucks don't have permission to be checking out on us slightly younger and leaving us the problems. You guys need to stick around and maintain:action-smiley-099: order.

Not sure that would do any good. I think I am beyond that kind of help. Probably dates back to when I was 12 and dumped a wagon full of bullpout into the priest's outdoor ornamental goldfish pond. By the following Sunday all the goldies were mysteriously gone replaced by some whiskered uglys when the parishioners went for a coffee after mass.

All I want for Christmas is more levity & less bickering on this site. This thread wasn't so bad, now, was it?
Top of the season to all of you & yours. Have a good'n & make good smoke.
Paul

Muley Hunter 12-20-2015 12:03 PM

We're better than the mountain men were. They'd be rolling around in the mud fighting, and beating each others brains out.

We just roll around in the mud, and fight with words. :hit:

You'll be there b-4 you know it. It comes faster and faster. Racing up mountains one day and all of a sudden its a no go to Walmart if the hover-round battery is dead. :lmao:

super_hunt54 12-20-2015 12:26 PM
