If well insulated how about a radiant heat application in the floor? I have it in an addition on the lake side of my home and it is great. My hunting buddy has one of those cement homes poured into a block leggo form on a slab and he heats with radiant efficiently. I think it is initially expensive but really nice heat and cheap going forward.

You should really consider a wood furnace over a stove. Not the outdoor furnace, but the inside furnace with blower/s. Although an investment in the beginning, they pay for themselves quickly and last. I have one that's been used for 15yrs and I replaced one single brick. The blower will circulate air. Its not necessary to run a lot of heat pipe, only to the immediate work area. Even just 90 degree attachment to direct the heat works.

Very Nice MD. I will be looking forward to purchasing some of your lube when you're up and running. I'm currently using olive oil as a lube and it gives me the best accuracy to date. But I'm always willing to try something new.

Aint that a pretty site?!! Already had 3 vehicles inside it to repair during a snow storm and freezing cold. 100,000 btu heater running off diesel for now does the job. We hung a big tarp to bounce the heat back towards you and so far, no complaints. Keep the doors cracked for clean air flow and its comfortable to work in with a long sleeve.


Also did a little patch lube testing.


3 days in the snow/melt finally produced some results I was pleased with. I still have a ways to go before I am happy.

Do consider or look into radiant floor heat. Well worth it in the long run.

lol yeah its up straight. The guy that built the pad didnt completely level the drive way area so it kind of has its funky look as it connects to the main driveway.
