Default Recommended Loads for TC Endeavor

My son has the 50cal TC Endeavor. To be honest he hasn't spent much time with it due to his busy work schedule and taking care of his family responsibilities. Does anyone have any load and bullet recommendation?

Thanks...Ed

Mine shot 300grn DeadCenters amazing. The tightest groups I ever shot were with that gun and Harvester sabots and 300grn DeadCenter.

CCI209M or Federal 209A primers, BH209 and 110grs volume, a Barnes 250 or 209 T-EZ should put you where you'd like....

BH209 will fail in the Endeavors plug unless you keep clean all the time. It will go off, but with delays. Its to long of a plug to take a chance with Bh209. I would drill out for a ventliner if you need to use Bh209. The original Encore and Omega plug was awesome right out of the box.

That's my two main guns ,I have a 50 and a 45. I load 115 grains of Blackhorn and a win 209. I modified my BP by drilling it through with a #21 drill and tapping with a 10x32 tap and put a Lehigh vent liner in it. I clean from the vent liner to the 209 seat with a #21 drill every 10 or 12 shots to keep the carbon down this is a common need when using Blackhorn but you do not clean between shots. I have fired 30 or more shots with out cleaning but always clean when done shooting.
The other load I use in the 50 is my long range load I use a 250 grain or a 200 grain Shock Wave with a Harvester sabot [short black for the 250 , for both 250 grain bullets].

Default TC Endevour & Nikon Omega BDC 3-9x40

For my Endevour I'm shooting a 250gr Barnes TMZ and 120grs loose FFG Triple 7 powder.
Before that it was a 250gr SST/FTX with 3x T7 or Pyrodex pellets.
I switched to Barnes after losing 3 deer with the Hornady. And those I did'nt lose I was cutting away alot of meat.
BH 209 is $70 bucks up here in Canada. That $70 will get me 2 lbs of T7 or Pyrodex RS
