50cal Knight Mountaineer 1/24 twist

It seems like there is some interest in the 1/24 twist 50cal muzzleloaders. I absolutely have no interest in 1/24 twist 50cal or a Mountaineer. I have this in a Knight Elite stock with a Nikon Omega scope. Warne steel QR rings and bases. I'm thinking of getting rid of the package to get something else. Everything is like new, maybe 25 shots at most on everything. I'm having a hard time coming up with a value cause I won't separate anything. Knight only got a few of these for testing, and decided not to move forward with them. I'm thinking $900.00 but that might be to cheap?? What do you guys think? Or should I just keep it for no reason lol

I wouldn't mind a 24 twister to stabilize the longer bullets from Lehigh better. It would probably be better for some connies out there too. I've actually been thinking about a .52cal in a 24 twist to use some .458/sabot offerings but with Knight being the only supplyer in the sabots right now I just don't want to pull that trigger yet.

52 cal is a 1:26

Thought they came in 24 but still a 26 would be better for say a good rifle bullet for a 45/70 saboted option.

I can attest to the fact that rifle with the 1/24 is real accurate rifle with long and short projectiles! The camo was done by the lady at the 'Big Dipper' in Lewiston - she does an excellent job and it sealed with non-slip clear coat.

Yes, they did a really good job on everything

That's one fine setup and you should get what you want for it. it's a one of a kind and will not be made again. to bad I don't have the $ for it or it would be sold.

Its a shame they did not pursue the 1-24. One of GM's best ML barrels was the Sharpshooter 50cal 1-24 with cut rifling. They still sell those blanks so its very likely that is what was used.

Hold on to it and see if any others come to market and maybe that would help gage value.

The White .504 are 1:24 very accurate guns. Is that knob on the left side of your Knight a retaining screw? Looks like it..
